Susan Wright

Person Centred Counsellor (RMBACP)

I am a qualified and experienced Person-Centred counsellor.  People enter counselling for many different reasons and each person’s issues are unique. My focus is always on you and what you feel you want to bring into the counselling room. Person-centred counselling is an approach that deals with the ways in which people perceive themselves consciously rather than how a counsellor can interpret their unconscious thoughts or ideas.

I have an honest and open approach to my work and will provide a confidential, supportive and safe space where you can discuss and explore your personal choices, behaviours, feelings and beliefs, all without fear of judgement, reproach or discrimination. I will help you make choices and changes, not make them for you. All sessions are tailored to your needs and allow you to explore your feelings in a time-frame you are comfortable with.

I work with individuals over the age of 16 and my main areas of work include, but are not limited to: Abuse, Eating Disorders, Self Harm, Relationships and Bereavement.

I look forward to hearing from you.
